Every year Project Numbat raises funds for radio tracking collars. Through your support we have been able to fund 160 over the past 10 years!

Each year, wild or captive born Numbats are fitted with radio collars by the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions from November to December to track their movements and gain important information on their dispersal and survival in the wild.

Each collar costs $280 and by the end of the year you will receive a certificate with an image of the Numbat, its name, weight, sex and location.

Visit our online shop to purchase a collar.
